The mission of the PTEF is to enhance the educational experience of every Pike student by providing resources for innovative, high quality approaches to education.
The Pike Township Educational Foundation, a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, was organized in 1993 to enhance the education of Pike students through scholarships and grants for teacher-driven projects. Since 1993, more than $120,000 in scholarships has been awarded to graduating Pike seniors, over $170,000 has been used for teacher recognition and outreach programs, and over $300,000 has been awarded in grants. Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, the Foundation is a separate entity from the Pike Township Schools and its Board of Education. The Foundation is self-supporting through founding members, fund-raisers, corporate sponsorships, and private donations. The Board of Directors is made up of Pike parents, retired Pike educators, and Pike business owners. For more information about the Foundation, our projects, or donations, please contact us at (317) 387-2542 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
