This scholarship was established in loving memory of Blair Wheat, a 1995 graduate of Pike High School who excelled in academics, soccer, and diving and was a friend to all. He graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with a degree in English and film studies and furthered his studies by earning a law degree at the John Marshall Law School. He practiced law as a guardian ad litem, providing service to children under care of the courts, and later found his passion in immigration law. He helped countless immigrants pursue the American dream by providing legal services so they could seek opportunity in our country.
