The Pike Career and STEM Center Needs Your Help!

Funding for Barbering/Cosmetology Kits is desperately needed. We have a lot of families out of work or currently on a low income that can’t afford the materials needed for these classes. Students are needing to drop the class because they can’t afford the fee for the kits.
Many of the students in our Barbering/Cosmetology programs receive their State license by the time they graduate and are employed. They are also receiving dual credit (college credit) from Vincennes University. We have had students actually start their own barbershop or hair salon.

Some are making this a career while others are using it as a part-time job while attending college.
