As a prospective student pursuing a career in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) or business, you stand at the forefront of innovation and entrepreneurship. This scholarship aims to support individuals who demonstrate a commitment to making a positive impact in their chosen field. Please describe your journey toward choosing a career in STEM or business. What experiences, challenges, or inspirations have shaped your aspirations? Discuss how you plan to utilize your education and skills in STEM or business to address a current problem or need within your community or the world. Be specific about the areas you are passionate about and how you intend to contribute to meaningful change. Outline your short-term and long-term career goals. How will this scholarship help you achieve these objectives and further your professional development?
Your essay should showcase your unique perspective, passion, and commitment to your chosen field, as well as your understanding of the broader implications of your chosen major. Be sure to provide clear examples and personal anecdotes to illustrate your points.
Taylor embodied the ideals of kindness, hard work, integrity, generosity, and a drive to improve and succeed. In your essay, share an experience when you worked to improve in something - in the classroom, in sports or an extracurricular club, at your job, or other facets of your life. Describe the challenge, the efforts you made to improve, and the results of those efforts - and especially how the ideals that Taylor embodied helped you along the way. In the second part of your essay, explain how you plan to apply these attributes and experiences to your future career in nursing.

There are families that you are born into, and then there are the families that we choose.
